Tasks
You analyze and document our clients needs to digitalize their existing paper lab protocols.
You communicate and discuss customer feedback with the SLims development team.
You program, script and configure a lab’s in-silico tools into SLims using SLimsgate, our integration framework.
You assist and train lab users in using and optimizing SLims for their daily operations.
Profile
You have either a) a degree in life sciences (e.g. bio-engineering, biology, biotechnology) with a strong interest in programming or scripting ; b) experience as a lab scientist with a strong interest in programming or scripting ; c) an IT background with interest and/or experience in biology
You are a keen adopter of new technologies and are not afraid of using the command line
You speak fluent English and French or German
You want to learn, understand and promote how to digitalize today’s labs and their users.
You are prepared to travel within and outside of Switzerland on a non-regular basis.
Extra’s
You have experience with Java EE, EAI and some client frameworks (Spring, GWT, Flex).
You have working experience as a wet-bench lab user and/or affinity with life sciences, lab environments or university hospitals.
